Kristin Boese - president
9x Kiteboarding World Champion Kristin Boese started to organize free of charge girls kiteboarding events back in 2003 and has always been passionate about supporting other female kiters on her travels around the world. In 2010 she launched KB4girls and after an amazingl successfull 1st season and the huge support from many different sides she got together with Laurel Eastman and Michelle Yamamoto to form the KB4girls foundation. As founder and president of KB4girls she puts together the tour and also functions as the head coach at the events, giving female kiters tips and tricks that help them to improve quickly and gain confidence on and off the water. Laurel Eastman - secretary
Laurel Eastman has been a professional kiteboarder since the first hour of the sport and has made a name for herself not only through her amazing performance in the competitions in the early 2000s but also through her carismatic being and great personality. Laurel is the owner of 2 kite schools and is involved in many other projects in kiteboarding, always with the goal to support others and the sport. While Laurel is one of the most amazing coaches she is also an incredible motivator and ads an amazing vibe to our organization. Lauri Streaker - treasurer
Lauri followed her heart to Hood River from Portland in 2006 and soon learned to kite with her exwindsurfer boyfriend. Her love of the sport grew and in 2009 she participated in her first KB4girls clinic. Since then Lauri has become more involved with KB4girls, having organized the 2011 Hood River clinic and advocating for women kiters in the Gorge. As a professional freelance photographer and business owner, she knows what it takes to get the shot and will do her best to bring her kiting, photo, and business skills together to help make the KB4girls Foundation a major resource for women kiters and female-focused charities around the world. Sandy Parker
As the local organizer of the KB4girls event in San Francisco in 2010 and one of our pro coaches at the KB4girls/Dream Extreme event in NY Sandy has been there to support our cause from the first minute. As a national kiteboarding champion and great ambassador for the sport as well as an amazingly passionate kiteboarding instructor Sandy does not only know what she is teaching and how she can best help someone to improve their riding but she also brings different perspectives together to help us with advise on all different topics. Elea Faucheron
One of those awesome examples for girls that love to get more females into the sport and actually put a lot of work in to achieve it is Elea. She has launched a local female group called "Air Club for girls" in South Carolina/USA and has organized all different events for and with the girls - from clinics to trips and even fundraising downwinders. Elea and KB4girls first met in 2009 when she came over to Hood River to participate in one of Kristin's girls events. This year Elea came up to the KB4girls/Dream Extreme event to join us as a coach and she has done such an amazing job not only with coaching but also with supporting our cause that we needed to get her on the team! :) Find her on the www at·catchsomeair.us

Fiona Kempton
An amazing designer in real life and an amazing kite girl in her off time Fiona brings a lot of different passions and talents to the table. Her partner Idris and her also run a mobile kite school on Long Island/NY and kite whenever the get the chance to! Linda Argila
is an accomplished entrepreneur, motivator, professional fundraiser and the founder of Solutions From the Heart www.solutionsnewyork.com, an award-winning event management and consulting firm. She is the driving force behind raising $25 million for causes such as foster care, homelessness and victims of domestic violence. Linda is the founder and producer of ARTrageous, one of the most prestigious charity art auctions in New York City, benefiting foster children while attracting influential business leaders, philanthropists, artists and celebrities.
Her love for kiteboarding led her to meet Kristin Boese. As a result of their meeting and mutual passion, Linda partnered with KB4girls and founded Dream Extreme, an event inspiring women to overcome challenges and live their dreams while raising critical funds for victims of domestic violence. “I strive to live my life fearlessly because it takes courage to act upon my ideas. Kiteboarding empowers me and reinforces self-confidence, recharging my spirit and creating positive energy in my life.”
Linda resides in New York City and is a single mother of her 21-year-old daughter Ashley, who is learning to kiteboard due to her Mom’s encouragement.

Sky Solbach
Sky Solbach, one of KB4girls' strongest and earliest supporters remains an important component of the organization through his unfailing encouragement and commitment to Kristin's beliefs in the power of kiteboarding for women. Even as a world tour veteran and one of the most successful competitive American kitesurfers to date, Sky volunteers his time at many of the KB4girls events and has taken care of everything from various organizational tasks to rescue, always lending a hand where needed. As a professional kitesurfer, Sky's timeless style and progressive approach in the surf has made him widely regarded and ranked among the world's best kite-surfers. As a tester, product manager and team rider for North Kiteboarding, Sky spends countless hours in the ocean riding and developing all types of different gear and is a fierce competitor in the surf and on the race course. Sky will no doubt be a top contender on the KSP. Sky's industry knowledge, competition experience and vision and support for KB4girls, leads him to be a valuable and respected member of the team.

Mia Toose - Administrative Assistant
Mia Toose is the part-time Administrative Assistant for KB4girls working to support Kristin Boese in her mission to support and empower women through the sport of kiteboarding. Mia brings a background of project management in the non-profit sector in Canada alongside her experience in sales and marketing in tourism in her experience as a PADI Scuba Dive Instructor and kiteboarding shop attendant and manager in various locations in the Dominican Republic. Her passion comes from seeing people come together to achieve something great and her firm belief in the power of sports, especially watersports. In addition to her work with KB4girls, she teaches private scuba dive lessons and underwater tours with DiveWithMia.com.

Suzette Flemming - Accountant
Suzette Flemming provides accounting support to KB4Girls. She loves working with Kristin, Lauri and the KB4Girls staff in keeping their accounts organized, funds appropriately tracked and managed as well as providing understandable financial statements. She was inspired by the mission of KB4girls and was happy to accept the position of Accountant offered to her by Kristin in June 2011. Suzette's passion is helping businesses thrive and prosper and educating business owners about how to best manage their finances. She keeps all of her clients informed about the latest tax laws, financial strategies and new technology to ensure her clients benefit from the latest developments in accounting, tax laws and finance.
