2012 schedule of events

This will be the 2nd consecutive KB4girls event in Alameda and in cooperation with Boardsports and Kitopia. After an amazing success in 2011 and just over $7000 raised for the Girls Inc. Island City girls we are stoked for this event to happen again. Join the fun, meet the lovely ladies of the bay area and learn some new moves while doing something good for these girls that need your support. Sign up below and secure your spot now!

SPOT OVERVIEW: our main event site will be at Alameda Beach, the home beach of the girls from Boardsports. However, depending on weather and wind conditions we also have the possibility to relocate to 2 other locations nearby (Coyote and 3rd ave). Alameda offers shallow water and lighter winds which will be perfect for trying those new tricks you always wanted to try as well as for our beginner girls to start to kiteboard without any hesitation!

WIND AND WEATHER: for wind and weather updates check the Boardsports website, consistent and lighter winds around 15 knots are expected.

HOW TO GET THERE: fly to San Francisco or Oakland airport and drive to Alameda. For all girls from the SF area it is going to be an easy trip. For driving directions please refer to the Boardsports website or simply wait for our info e-mail that will be sent out to you 2 weeks before the event.

RECOMMENDED ACCOMODATION: for those of you that are flying in for the event there is a hotel in walking distance (1.5 miles) from the Boardsports facility in Alameda. The hotel is 1/2 block from the 2 mile long beach and has a pool. If many of you are planning on staying at the hotel we will be able to get a group deal so contact us if you are planning on booking into the hotel! The Hotel info is:
