Bringing KB4girls back to El Gouna in 2012 after an the hugely successful event 2 years ago is not only exciting for the local girls Jenny and Julia that are bringing you the event, but also to all girls from Europe, Africa and Asia that get the chance to join! With the most perfect warm water lagoon to learn in new tricks will come almost guaranteed and with lots of other fun things to do in El Gouna this will be a kite trip to remember! SPOT OVERVIEW: Sun, turquoise water, constant wind and a several-square-mile lagoon with shallow water offer kite surfers of all skill levels the best conditions to enjoy an unforgettable vacation and improve quickly.

WIND AND WEATHER: The wind blows almost always side-onshore from left on our beach (from north-north-westerly direction). It comes directly and unturbulenced from the Red Sea and is therefore very constant.There are no building in the way like on other spots which turbulence the wind and make it gusty. June is actually the month with the highest wind expectations in El Gouna and the time window we chose will work perfectly with the high tide and water in the lagoon. The water will be very nice and warm and it will be sunny every day.

HOW TO GET THERE: Fly into Hurghada Airport, from there simply take a taxi.

ACCOMODATION: With fantastic support from El Gouna and the hotels here, we have been able to secure a great rate for rooms in 5 of the “Marina Hotels”: Fanadir, Mosaique, Captain’s Inn, Turtle’s Inn and the Ali Pasha. The rates (see below) are available for Bed and Breakfast (B&B) or for Half Board (HB) and are valid for up to a 2 week stay as long as the 2 weeks includes the 15th, 16th and 17th!! Take advantage and come and enjoy all El Gouna has to offer and bring all your friends and family too, as the rate is open to everyone who quotes the promotional code… as long as there are still rooms available that is, it’s just too good to miss!! I think it may be a good idea to book your room as early as possible after registration. The clinic is a great reason to get a real party vibe going and get as many people as possible to come and enjoy El Gouna, so these hotels may get booked up pretty quickly!! :D :D :D

Use the interactive map and zoom to locate them. The 2 closest to Buzzha Beach and Kiteboarding Club (where the clinic will take place) are Fanadir and Mosaique, which are next door to each other on the North Basin. The other hotels are located quite close to each other round Abu Tig Marina. All the hotels are within walking distance of each other or you can easily get around by tok tok (5 LE per person per journey) or taxi (15 LE anywhere in El Gouna) and there’s a shuttle bus service around El Gouna that costs 20 LE for a weekly ticket.

TRANSFERS:

When booking accommodation with one of the hotels above, please state if you think you will require an airport transfer and this will be organized for you at an extra cost, to be paid locally. To give you an idea, a taxi transfer costs approx. 120-150LE (10-15 Euros) for a car.
