Overview The KB4girls foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by 9x World Champion Kristin Boese in December 2009 with the vision and goal to empower women through the sport of kiteboarding and give them the support they deserve. By having run more than 20 non-profit/fundraising female kiteboarding events all around the world in its first 2 years of existence, the KB4girls foundation has quickly become a name in the sport and has found the support of national and international kite associations, kite tours as, the worldwide kite media and of course the female community. To be able to empower even more girls and women around the world through the sport, the KB4girls foundation now takes its program and concept even further by introducing local and national chapters and creating a global umbrella for female kiteboarding groups. Giving motivated female kiters with the shared vision of supporting women in the sport the guidance and infrastructure needed to start a local program at their spot, the KB4girls chapter program gives females all around the world the possibility to engage in the local activities realized by the local chapters. With five big "KB4girls global" events the foundation then gives the chapters and female kiters the opportunity to come together with girls and women from other states and countries to share the KB4girls communities' experience on a cross-boarder level.
