Hello everyone,

Welcome to the Levante Coast KB4girls Chapter in Spain. I am really happy and excited to have been given this opportunity.

When I started kiting there were very few girls riding so I have always tried to encourage them to try this amazing sport. To be part of this Foundation and be able to run activities for kitegirls and those who want to learn is really a great pleasure J

I will be organizing all kind of activities for all levels. From just learning to fly a kite for those who just want to have a taste in the sport, to activities for beguinners-intermediate kiters that want to progress or improve certain aspects of their kiting (such as relaunching or safety). And also workshops for advanced kitegirls who want to progress on their technique or learn more about disciplines such as waves, freestyle, race.

Most activities will be run at the Mar Menor area in Murcia and girls from all over Spain are welcome to attend. We will also be planning trips to other spots in the Levante coast and hopefully a big gathering in Tarifa like we did last year. A snowkite event in the winter season will most likely be organiced . And who knows, an international kiting trip perhaps? ;)

We will have a back-up plan for non-wind scheduled days, with activities such as SUP or just social gatherings among us to get to know each other better and express our concerns and share information about kiting.

I will post the schedule of events later on this week and more details on how to register for them. I really hope to see as many of you there!!
