I went to the WA KB4Girls in December. Apart from great fun, it was personally very inspiring and a huge confidence boost for me so that in the two months since the event I have kited more, enjoyed my kiting more and progress more than in the last 4 years. Just before Christmas, I packed up my kites and board and flew from Melbourne to Perth for the Safety Bay 2012 KB4girls event. I had an absolutely brilliant weekend! I went home exhausted, sun kissed and thoroughly delighted I'd made the trip. My huge thanks to Kristin who tirelessly hosts these events for us, it's a place to learn, grow and make friends with likeminded girls. The whole weekend was so well run, thanks to everyone involved. Until the next time in Australia - I'll be at the next one in a flash!! AnnieI have attended the KB4Girls Camps in the last three years. This is always such a great experiences for me. At my home spot (Lake Constance, Germany) there are hardly any girls. And riding with other girls is so motivating!Like many other girls I was very apprehensive and did not know what to expect from the event at all, but it has been the most amazing experience and I have learned so much from it that I can now take away with me. The BKSA competition was absolutely fantastic and meeting all the girls of all different levels has just been great. Thanks so much to everyone!The 1500 km driving through Europe were really worth it. It was a great week-end that brought every single girl forward according to her personal skill level and objectives. Plus I got to know so many nice girls with the same passion for kite-surfing. We will stay in touch and kite together in the future for sure.
